I’m excited to announce that I will be standing as a candidate in the Federal Election for Deakin. I have worked as a Registered Nurse, and have more than 20 years experience in Healthcare. My specialties included Mental Health, Forensic Psychiatry, Midwifery and Aged Care. My experience has provided me with a broad understanding of complex social issues and family dynamics. I am committed to promoting health and well-being across the lifespan.
As a mother of two school-aged children in North Ringwood I love our local area in Deakin and am passionate about raising children to flourish. I also see a need to strengthen community connections.
I am deeply concerned about the alarming escalation of mental health issues and family breakdowns. Small businesses, their families and employees have been severely impacted by the lockdowns over the past two years and essential frontline workers who refused to comply with vaccine mandates are now unemployable. This is unacceptable and must be rectified as a matter of urgency. I am here to represent you, to listen to your views and concerns and to bring your voice to parliament. I believe we all need to work together to restore true elected representation in our country.
