Garth Pywell

I am a chiropractic practitioner in good standing, with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Masters of Chiropractic, graduating from Macquarie University in 2003. Having worked in clinics in Sydney, Dubbo and Newcastle, it became apparent to me that while the majority of patients responded to chiropractic care, others still did not. I went on to study the effect of emotions and toxicity on the human body, adding education in paediatrics, mental health and hormone function, building a clinical framework to approach patients’ complaints with a broad and holistic focus.

Dedicated to finding the cause of a problem, with an ability to look outside the square for solutions, I have now turned my focus to representing the people of the Newcastle electorate. For too long Newcastle has sat as a safe electoral seat and with this, there has been a real lack of political focus and attention on Newcastle and the region as a whole.

It’s time for a fresh approach, time for a true representative that will act in the interest of Newcastle and its people. Friends and family describe me as friendly, approachable, with an ability to actively listen and understand the need to work cooperatively to come up with creative solutions. I am well positioned to be a voice for Newcastle. Let’s be bold Newcastle – it’s time to see change.
