I am a proud Australian of Chinese descent, born and bred in Sydney. My family history in Australia goes back four generations (+150 years) to the Gold rush in country New South Wales. Today I am married with five children, support local businesses and the Australian way of life – I love a sunburnt country.
My journey has humble beginnings starting out in housing commission in Mount Druitt and disadvantaged schooling in the Inner West. For the past seven years I have been living in northern Sydney. I am a Christian and have been actively involved in serving my community and supporting those who are less fortunate.
Professionally, my early career started in legal and banking and then transitioned into funds management. For the past 20+ years I have been working with major financial institutions such as Colonial First State, IOOF, Westpac and a range of specialist offshore investment managers. Through these roles I have witnessed global financial crisis’ and the knee jerk reactions of government. Poorly implemented policy and legislation from both Labor and Liberal governments have left Australia poorer and burdening future generations with mounting national debt, unaffordable housing and rising inflation.
I share a love for this great nation of ours and want to partner with you to ensure we build a secure and prosperous future for our children and generations to come. This is our nation, this is our land, a land of plenty and of hope – the great southern land.
