I am a small business owner in the fitness industry, qualified with a Bachelor of Sport & Exercise Science with a passion for health, sport and fitness. I live in FNQ since 2018 with my wife and three children. My previous experience includes roles as a Drug and Alcohol Tester for TDDA, onsite Exercise Scientist at Australia Post Mail & Delivery Centre, Cairns. I’ve owned a small business since 2000 in the fitness industry working in PNG, FNQ & NSW.
Historically, my grandmother’s family owned pubs in Yorkeys Knob, Double Island & Fishery Falls before that pub burnt down, and through my father who bought land & initiated a project to build Cooktown’s Golf Course in the 1980’s.
I am running as a candidate because I believe freedom is a right, not a privilege. We must fight to keep that right. All Australians, including the people of Leichhardt and future generations are facing an extremely serious existential threat right now – we are on the cusp of potentially losing our freedoms permanently, our sovereignty, and becoming slaves to a foreign power. Those who lost employment resulting from covid mandates need to return to work. The blackmail, intimidation and coercion need to stop. The looming dystopia of digital passports, medical apartheid and social credit scores following the federal election is a nightmare society unbefitting for our children and grandchildren. Our ANZACS fought to prevent this and so should we.
I believe hope and wise solutions will prevail and am confident this region’s potential will be realised by harnessing the great minds and ideas we have. The Australian Federation Party holds values that are close to mine and together with the electorate, we will achieve amazing results.
Engagement with community leaders to reduce crime, build cultural and sporting centres for our youth’s future is important to me. Solving the Gillies and Kuranda Range problem will help protect our agricultural sector, gridlocks and accidents. I want to restore sovereignty over our ports, land and water; invest in drought proof dams with hydroelectricity, and incentivise small and medium businesses in FNQ. A vote for me is a vote to rescue Australia and FNQ from imminent threats.
